European Data and AI Summit 2026 – Danube Tour

To bring our European Data AI Summit closer to our partners, we are proud to launch the first edition of this event outside of France. Each year, in addition to our traditional gathering in Paris, we will go on a European tour to showcase our members' achievements and ongoing projects.

EONA-X DANUBE TOUR

EONA-X is officially launching its European tour. For its first international edition, our summit is heading beyond Paris to Bratislava! 🇸🇰

This edition will take us to Bratislava, where EONA-X is bringing data spaces to Slovakia in partnership with the Slovakian Industry Innovation Cluster and the European project DEPLOYTOUR.

The European Data & AI Summit 2026, taking place on 22 January 2026 in Bratislava, brings together experts from across Europe to explore how data sharing and artificial intelligence are shaping the future of logistics, mobility, and tourism. As part of the EONA-X Danube Tour and hosted by Comenius University, the event focuses on practical use cases, policy frameworks, and cross-sector collaboration.

About DEPLOYTOUR

DEPLOYTOUR Focus on integrating urban centres with international gateways through efficient multimodal hubs for passengers and freight. The panel explores cross-sector synergies, new energy solutions, and digital connectivity to support sustainable and high-performance transport nodes.

About the Slovakian Industry Innovation Cluster

Industry Innovation Cluster (IIC) A Slovak innovation ecosystem connecting companies, research institutions, and public stakeholders. It accelerates digital transformation and sustainable industrial growth. By fostering collaboration and supporting EU-funded projects, IIC helps SMEs become more competitive, resilient, and future-ready.

Panels and Themes

The program is structured around four thematic panels, each addressing a key dimension of data and AI in logistics, mobility, and tourism:

Panel 1: Cohesion Policy, European Funds, and Cross-Border Financing

  • Analysis of the synergy between Cohesion Policy, cross-border financing, and technical frameworks to support regional growth. The discussion highlights Franco-Slovak cooperation and explores how aligning European funds with infrastructure and digital innovation can strengthen connectivity and territorial cohesion across Europe.

Panel 2: Deploying the Common Data Space for Tourism: an opportunity for the European travel industry

  • Collaboration as a key to Destination Competitiveness in Europe. Synergies between Mobility and Tourism with examples from Austria and France.

Panel 3: From downtown to airports: connecting passengers and freight to multimodal hubs

  • Focus on integrating urban centres with international gateways through efficient multimodal hubs for passengers and freight. The panel explores cross-sector synergies, new energy solutions, and digital connectivity to support sustainable and high-performance transport nodes

Panel 4: Women in tomorrow’s transport

  • The panel will highlight women’s roles, visibility, and impact across passenger transport, tourism, and digital ecosystems. It will address inclusion, digitalization, AI, and the barriers women face in the sector.

Speakers and Audiences

Speakers and moderators across four panels will share expert insights and real-world uses of data and AI. Participants will hear practical experiences and strategic perspectives from the European logistics, mobility, and tourism ecosystem.

The summit brings together a wide range of sectors. Speakers come from policy, the public sector, transport, tourism, and innovation ecosystems. They are connected by data sharing, AI-enabled mobility, and cross-sector cooperation. Speakers represent several European countries, including Slovakia, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria.

Participants can join dedicated networking sessions after the panels. These moments support exchange, partnerships, and project discussions. They also strengthen cross-border and European cooperation.

The initiative targets professionals in mobility, transport, tourism, logistics, data, and AI. It also addresses public-sector decision-makers and policy experts. Industry leaders, project managers, researchers, consultants, and innovation practitioners are encouraged to participate.

Stay ahead in logistics, mobility, and tourism innovation — join the conversation at the European Data & AI Summit. Connect with industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers driving the future of data-driven transport solutions across Europe.
